Tablets may not be as popular as cell phones and laptops, but they are still pretty widespread among people of all ages. Unlike smartphones, they come with bigger screens, which make things far more enjoyable when you want to browse the web, watch videos, etc.
However, just like any other device, they can cause major issues, such as being unresponsive, too slow, software glitches, and many other problems that can be a real pain in the neck. Since lately, they have become pretty common, we decided to explore this topic a bit to help you tackle various tablet problems that may arise.
You Can’t Turn It On
One of the most common, yet most nerve-wracking issues is when your device doesn’t want to turn on. Although this can be extremely frustrating, there are a few things you can try out to resolve it.
Is everything okay with the battery? Maybe you didn’t properly connect your tablet to the charger and now, the battery is completely dead. If that’s not the case, then move on to the power button.
At times, the power button can be damaged or stuck, so maybe that’s the cause behind this issue. If none of these steps are helpful, then it’s time to fix your Apple tablet (or any other, for that matter) by taking it to a professional. A technician will first thoroughly examine your device to uncover the root cause and then will do whatever is necessary to fix it.
It Becomes Unresponsive
Here’s another problem that’s also very common. For starters, if you notice that your tablet is unresponsive, the first step that you should take is to restart it. If this doesn’t help, then be sure to plug it into the charge it and let it charge for a while (not less than two hours).
Press and hold the power button for roughly fifteen to twenty seconds so you can turn off your device, only to turn it back on once again. This is one of the simplest, yet most effective things you can do in these instances.Â
Furthermore, you should reboot the touch screen to Safe Mode if your screen suddenly stops working. Bear in mind that when you’re in Safe Mode, all your outside apps are deleted, and your device is reset to factory settings.
Your Battery Doesn’t last For Too Long
One of the tablet problems that make you want to scream at the top of your lungs is when your battery dies quickly. That’s something that most people deal with, and it’s an issue that doesn’t strike tablets only, but mobile phones as well.
If that’s what you’re currently experiencing, then one of the surefire ways to address this problem is to close the so-called power-hungry apps that are in the background because they tend to drain the battery fast.Â
Aside from that, don’t forget to turn off anything that you’re not utilizing currently, like Bluetooth, GPS, etc.
Tablets give us immense joy when they work normally, however, when the time comes when all of a sudden they decide they don’t want to “listen” to us, it can really be very overwhelming and exhausting, but that’s why these tips are here, to help you combat some issues successfully.
